Health Week Day 5 – FANTASTIC FRIDAY.

WOW! Well done Year 6 for such a fantastic week. Your contributions have been spectacular, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed hearing from all of you. So today is a celebration of you, to think about the things that either you enjoy or make you special.

Write a short story, no more than 200 words, about someone who was positive. How did it go for them? Can you work in a moral about one of our school values, such as resilience, kindness and brilliance. On the blog, post your short stories, and I will see which one has the most positive message.

To help, Mr Iman has kindly prepared a video to help give you a few ideas.

Once there was a boy named Tom he lived in canada where his family is very poor infact they were so poor that when they have food it is only enough for one person on day Tom said that he would work so hard that his family would never be poor again, so Tom set of to be a servant in a rich persons mansion he was always bullied at school and the only job was the bullys house he was accepted to work there.
The rules were simple there are seven rooms you must clean all six everyday BUT YOU SHALL NOT CLEAN THE 7TH ROOM. The room was so mysterious that even the bully did not know what was in there so day after day he worked very hard, one day he forgot to clean the 5th room which was the bullys. The bully was so furious that he will change the 7ths rooms name to the 6ths room name. When Tom walked in it was empty room execpt door which had been drawn by chalk, when he touched the door it sucked him inside of it and on the other side he was shocked, when Tom opened his eyes he saw a forest unlike he has never seen before. The colurs were strange unlike any human had seen before and there was fruits and flowers hanging from the tree, the smelled sweet and the sun was shining and he realized he has reached the land of the elfs and fairys like mid summer night dream.

    Story:
There was once a cub called Jrx who wanted to be a great king like his father. His father had high hopes in him. But Jrx was almost killed by a pack of hyenas. But he got saved by his father. Jrx had given up, he had thought he was to weak. But after many years, he had went pack to the pack of hyenas, while he was a dominant male at the time. He had killed the pack of hyenas, which were the biggest threat to the lions. He had proved his father he is worthy of being king, and after several more years, the king had died of old age, and his son became king, who may have been the greatest king of all time.

Moral of the story is to always persevere.

There once was a little boy called Bob. Bob was not the best at sports in the class. He was not the best at maths either. But one day, everything changed for him:
”Come on, chicken. Go!” Said Jack.
”What, are you scared to climb on the roof?” Added Finn.
”What? No…of course not!” Bob furiously yelled.
Obviously, he was scared, but he had no choice. If he did not do it everyone would think he is a scared chicken.
”Hey hey hey, what’s going on here?” Hopefully, Mr Mark, the teacher that everybody hated, you could say, came right in time. Bob was still holding on the ladder. He was scared to climb back down, he was already about 3.5 metres high. He just stayed there and waited. There was a huge moment of silence. Out of all the children, nobody said a word.
”Mr Mark, Bob was trying to climb on the roof. I told him he should not do that but he won’t listen to me.” Finn said nervously.
” Is that true Bob?” Mr Mark confusingly asked. He knew that Bob would never do something like that. He was a shy, sensible boy.
”What? No! Of course not. They…”
”That’s it! I don’t want to hear one little sound coming from your mouth. Detention! See you in my office after school. Even though Mr Mark was wrong, he knew that if he didn’t do as he said he would get in even more trouble.

    THE END!

Moral of the story: You don’t need to always care about what everybody thinks about you, just… be yourself.

Hazel thought that she would get better in a matter of days but she didn’t. It became 2.5 weeks but her nanny wasn’t getting better, in fact she was getting worse. For the first time in her life she was scared, her life wasn’t perfect. Not long after that her nan told her that she didn’t have much time left.

This taught her that there is a line of perfectness and you can’t stay on that line. You bounce of having your moments.

There lives a girl called Hazel, like all of us, she isn’t having the best currently due to the current pandemic ‘ covid 19 ‘ but let me tell you a bit about her first. Her eyes are hazel as well as her name, she has long soft hair like a lions mane and her spirit animal is also a lion and she thought that everything in her life was perfect. However, there is 1 thing that ‘ covid 19 ‘ is teaching her, let me tell you what it is.

Not long ago, one night, her nanny got ill. She thought that she would get better in a ma

    My story:
There was this girl named Maya she had high hopes of becoming a fashion designer. The thing was that her parent weren’t that rich. She had always been into fashion at the age of 5. When she went to college she thought that she had to quit her dream. This was because she didn’t have fabric or a sewing machine. This made her really depressed. At school her teacher realised that she was acting unusual. She asked her what was wrong. Maya replied and told the truth. The teacher felt really sorry for her and asked the head to change her class to designers class . The head agreed and she was excited about it. The next day she went to class and got paired up with a great designer. Her partner let her try the sewing machine and she and she sewed a bag. The teacher came up to her and congratulated her and said that she was one of the best students. One day the student had a test and Maya passed. She got a scholarship to a fashion designer University. Over the past year she created lots of designs. She looked for a job including Fashion designing. After this Meyer made tones of money for her family and they lived the life they have always wanted. THE END.
    Moral:
Don’t ever give up on your dream.

This was a really great read Laraib. The moral is great as well; no matter what obstacle you can always find a way around it, even if you need help. It reminds me of a quote from Dumbledore; “Help will always come to those who ask for it.”

        Thank you.
