Ice Skating ⛸

Today, Mrs Hurt and I took the lucky winners of our girls writing competition ice skating at Coventry Cathedral!

Although we found Ice skating tricky at first, we soon learnt how to balance and were soon skating laps of the ice. The girls all embraced our school values by showing tenacity and resilience when learning how to skate, even though many of them fell at the beginning! Well done girls you were brilliant!

We also want to say a big thank you to Mrs Frankish for organising such a wonderful trip!

    A great big thank you to Mrs Frankish who planned for us to go ice skating and thank you to the teachers/staff who helped us throughout ! I enjoyed skating I hope we get much more activities just like this one ! I can’t stop laughing were I fell on top of Lisa 😂 . I tried to skate without the penguin but I
    kept on falling but after I decided to practise
    on the penguin again .I could skate a little bit. Again thank you for planning this day for
    us! I am also sad that the people who handed in there entry and didn’t make it.

    Well deserved prize, the selected children have worked hard to receive the news that they’ve been selected. Unfortunately, some that had entered and didnt get chosen, wasnt able to go. However they did get a prize. Well done to all people that got chosen. We should all say Thank you to Mrs Frankish and all those teachers for preparing this for us.

    A big thank you to Mrs Frankish who let this happen. A big thanks to all the parents and staff that were look after us. I really enjoyed it. I started by holding onto the side as I was scared but then someone gave me a penguin, so I held on do that. For the last 5 minutes of the session I skated on my own!!! I’m so proud of myself!!
