Individual Liberty

The number of people who are homeless in the UK is increasing. As we head towards winter, it is a difficult time to be without shelter and warmth. If we want to help, we can make choices about how we help, through donating to charities, raising awareness or giving our time.

It will soon be our harvest and we will be asking for children to donate a small amount of money towards our local homeless charities- are you willing to give a small amount of your choice?

  1. I hope all the donations will be used well people don’t even know what a can of food can do to help a homeless person but just don’t gloat about how much you spent on helping them and just give it

  2. 1 Red have started bringing in money for this great cause – well done 1 Red! They have all said that it is very kind to help others.

  3. I will be donating 50p to help the homeless people and get them a home and get treated equally so that they can live like us and have the same life as us and have a nice life.

I will also try my best to give as much money as possible to charity and homeless people as I can. Hopefully everyone’s donations will help the world 🌎. I will also try to give food

  7. I think this is a good idea a as it won’t only help the less fortunate bit let others be more mindful of their situation.I am willing to donate as it is a small amount of money going to a good cause. We should all try to be generous and kind to others that might not have enough money as you or nice clothes but in the end we are all one big community let’s help one another.😇

  8. Personally, I agree and it breaks my heart that more and more people are becoming homeless, so with my family we are willing to at least would pay £ 150.00 between £ 300.00. But me alone, I would pay £ 20.00 of my pocket money and give it to charity. Because, we are lucky to have a house, food and clothes and more etc. Whereas, some people can’t afford houses or even food, that’s why its important appreciate what we have.

  9. I think we should stop people being homeless by giving money to charity and helping one another by giving food like what we did in the harvest assembly giviing stuff however sometimes people pretend to be homeless because ing yr5 farhaad gave money to somebody a homeless person then person can go his friends. So sometimes be careful

  10. every time I go our shopping I see at least 1 or 2 homeless people and it makes me feel very sad. one time I was going shopping on a really bad and a homeless person with nothing but a bag was sitting in the rain, on the soaking wet floor. I will definitely donate.

  12. Mrs Frankish, 2White have spoken about this and we are very keen to donate money and food to help people who are not as lucky as us. It is important to make choices to be kind to others.
