Japanese and English diet

Over the past few days, Year 6 have been looking at Japanese and English diet, comparing the two and doing some research on the diet that Japan have.

The main food that Japan eat is fish, taking up a massive part of their diet. The Japanese diet contains very little sugar and all of their food is fresh.

Research was done by pupils to find out information about the traditional Japanese diet.

In Japan, they also have chocolate in their diet. A well known chocolate in Japan, same as England is Kit Kat. In Japan, they have a range of Kit Kat flavours such as:

  • Cookies and Cream
  • Green Tea
  • Apple Pie
  • Strawberry Cheesecake
  • Pumpkin Pudding
  • Baked Sweet Potato
  • Apple

…and many more! :)

Please answer the questions below:
