  1. STEAM is an approach to learning

Roller coasters were made in 1884.

Gravity is what keeps us on earth if it wasn’t for gravity we would be floating all over the place. It was discovered by Issac Newton.

Air resistance is what slows your vehicle down or you when you are running.

Other forces are applied force, friction and electrical force.

His book Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy), first published in 1687, established classical mechanics.

3.Sir Isaac Newton was an English mathematician and mathematician and physicist who lived from 1642-1727. The legend is that Newton discovered Gravity when he saw a falling apple while thinking about the forces of nature. This links to the spin of the earth because While the spinning of the Earth doesn’t directly affect gravity, it does off-set it a little. The farther you are from the Earth’s axis the more centrifugal force you’ll experience.

4.With air resistance, acceleration throughout a fall gets less than gravity (g) because air resistance affects the movement of the falling object by slowing it down. How much it slows the object down depends on the surface area of the object and its speed.

5.A roller coaster is a machine that uses gravity and inertia to send a train of cars along a winding track. The combination of gravity and inertia, along with g-forces and centripetal acceleration give the body certain sensations as the coaster moves up, down, and around the track.

Air resistance is a kind of friction that occurs between air and another object. It is the opposing force that the object experiences as it passes through the air.
    5) What other forces are there in roller coasters?
Roller coasters rely on gravity to take them to the end of the track. This involves two types of energy, potential energy and kinetic energy.

  26. STEAM is an approach to learning that uses science technology engineering arts (and) mathematics. Roller Coasters were invented in June 16th 1884. Gravity is the force that pulls down to the core of The Earth. It was discovered by Isaac Newton in 1687. It is related to the spin of The Earth because The Earth spins on an axis. Air resistance acts against gravity and is how parachutes work. It is when someone or something is going fast and the air is like an invisible wall it is hitting ( this could be vertically or horizontally). Brakes act against the spinning force of gravity by using friction to slow down things spinning. Other forces in roller coasters are: magnetic force, electric force, friction, tension force, and centrepetal force.
