Marvellous Multiplying in 3 Blue

3 Blue had a great maths lesson today learning to multiply a 2-digit number with 1-digit number. They show resilience, tenacity and determination and made fantastic progress through the lesson.

The children started their work using dienes and place, value counters to work out the answer. Towards the end of the lesson they were using the column method which they presented beautifully.

Can you calculate the following?

32 x 3

21 x 4

43 x 2

I think you have got confused Alima. Think back to what we did on Friday and try this again. Remember you can draw jottings on a piece of paper to help you.
