Maths week in 5 Blue.

What a fantastic week we have had in 5 Blue! We have had day one in the Greek zone, day 2 in the Egypt zone, day 3 in the China zone and the final day was in the India zone. We learnt about platonic shapes, there properties and net shape, prime numbers, making a Parthenon, Egyptian and Chinese number systems, equivalent fractions, created a tangram puzzle and a symmetrical pattern. To end the week we played a crystal maze game. The aim of this game was to answer as many mathematical questions, where our winning crystals equated to how many seconds we were given. Take a look at our video of this weeks Mathematical fun.
