English: This week we have started a new unit of work called Balanced Arguments.
Last week we identified the features of Balanced arguments. This week we will be writing it up. The Topic we are concentrating about is Can Computer Learning Ever Replace Classroom learning? We will be looking at the text below and creating our own plan tomorrow. Bring your homework book and your notes from today (Yesterday – the debate)This will be done in the Zoom Call tomorrow.
Maths: In Maths we are still looking at fractions and understanding BODMAS within fractions. We will look at the methods of how to solve these.
What is BODMAS?
BODMAS (or sometimes BIDMAS) is a simple acronym that helps you remember the order in which to solve calculations. Sometimes calculations can get a little more complicated than 2+2! For example, what would you do if you were given a calculation like 3 x (4 x 5²) ÷ 6 + 7 – 8 =?
How would we work this sum out?
