Please solve following word problems in your homework books.

Bronze

A ). There were twenty-four marbles which were dropped at school. Six children went to pick them up. The children collected the same number of marbles each. How many marbles did each child collect ?

B). Twenty children went to the ten-pin bowling alley. They had to get into groups of 4 as that was the number needed in each bowling lane. How many lanes did they take up ?

C) Zak is saving money to travel to Australia. He saves £245 a month for 6 months. How much has he saved?

D) If Sadia eats 5 pieces of fruit a day, how many pieces of fruit does she eat over 234 days?

Silver

A) John receives a monthly allowance of £22. How much is he given each year?

B) Oaktree school has won a national spelling competition and one of the prizes is 25 colouring pens per pupil. There are 468 children in the school, how many pens will the school receive.

C) The school buys 820 new books, which are put onto new bookshelves. If there are 34 books on each shelf, how many shelves must Mrs Mercer put up?

D)Mr White wants 24 eggs. Eggs are sold in boxes of 6. How many boxes of eggs will Mr White need?

Gold

A). Amy works at the Swimming Pool and is collecting lesson payments from each school. She collects £349 from every primary school and she collects £1225 from every secondary school. There are 16 primary schools and 8 secondary schools. How much money does she collect in total?

B) Alex has 22 bags of apples. In each bag there are 7 apples. She shares them equally amongst her 8 friends. How many apples do they each have? Are there any apples left over?

C) There are 60g of rice in one portion. How many portions are there in a 3kg bag of rice?
