On Wednesday the 7th of March the Netball B team played their fixture against Whoberley Hall. The players selected were, Rudaba (Yr 6), Priya (Yr 6), Bethany (Yr 5), Lataya (Yr 5), Abdul (Yr 6), Adnan (Yr 6) Rhys (Yr 5).
The first quarter started off slow as both teams gained their confidence but Rudaba got us off to a great start scoring her first goal for the team.
In the 2nd and 3rd quarter both teams had plenty of chances to score but neither could find the hoop.
In the final Quarter it was Incredible with goals galore. Whoberley started to pass the ball with a lot of speed and accuracy and levelled things up at 1-1. Broad Heath replied with Abdul scoring to make it 2-1. Whoberley showed lots of determination and courage and replied by scoring in the final minute to make it 2-2. They started to celebrate like the game was over, however straight from the centre pass 3 quick passes found Abdul just inside the D, and he scored an incredible goal to win the game for Broad Heath and break the Whoberley hearts. The game was played with lots of respect and good sportsmanship by both teams.
