In science we will be making our marble runs next Tuesday. If you have any of the following please bring them into school:
- cardboard tubes (eg toilet rolls, or kitchen paper rolls – or even sturdier tubes from the inside of cling film rolls)
- newspaper (to roll into tubes)
- small cardboard boxes from eg foil cardboard box, tissues, toothpaste – or milk/juice cartons
- plastic drinks bottles
- egg cartons (to catch marbles at the end).
Next week we will also be hosting an Eid assembly next week, if you have traditional outfits that you wear for your Eid celebrations, please bring them into school in a carrier bag with your name on it. If you have been given lines to learn keep practising and don’t forget everyone need to keep practising singing our Eid Mubarak song – I know that you will do brilliantly!
Please remember to bring £2 in an envelope with you child’s name on it and 1 Red for the trip to Herbert Art Gallery on the 19th of May.
Stay and Play is in full swing – PLEASE comment on the Stay and Play blog each week that you are attending your designated session. We had so much fun last week and I don’t want any parent missing out on the opportunity to with work with their child in the classroom.
