Nursery had an excellent week of learning!

Communication, Language and Personal, Social, Emotional Development

To talk about how we are feeling today using the words, happy, sad, excited, worried. To make fire work paintings.

Literacy

To show interest in books in the environment! To share the story of “Funny Bones”. Talk about the characters and the story plot.

Maths

To show finger numbers up to 5 and counting objects up to 3!

Physical Development

To take part in exercises such as balancing, ball skills, hop, jump, crawl. To use chalk to make patterns! We even had a go at writing some letters of our name too!

Expressive Art & Design and Understanding The world

To explore light and dark in the sensory room! What can we do to make it light? We discussed what it feels like in the dark and if we have travelled anywhere in the dark before. We made some X-Ray hand prints and explored colour mixing.
