Today we shared the story of ‘Star in the Jar’, we discussed what space looks like and listened to each other’s.

Tuesday
Literacy and ICT -We made our own space pictures, we talked about what we have drawn and the colours we used. We had a go at writing the initial sound to match our picture. To use some letter knowledge in early writing, to write some or all of their name. We also visited the library!
Wednesday
Maths- To recognise numbers 1, 2 and 3. To link numerals to amounts and say one number for each item up to 5! To make patterns using one or two colours. Please see learning video.
Thursday
Physical Development – To become more confident writing, to hold the pencil correctly using tripod grip. To begin to show more control with dominant hand when writing. To move freely in different ways when dancing, jumping, hopping, balancing. Please see pictures!
Friday
EAD- To use a range of materials and resources when decorating stars. EAD
UTW- To talk about space and what we can see.
‘I can see the stars’- Kiylah
