The Queen is asking us to plant a tree so that there will be more habitats for animals like birds. Trees also reduce carbon pollution and make more oxygen. Trees can also save energy and provide flood protection. They can even reduce tax prices.
I would like to celebrate this historical occasion at school by inviting a special person who works for the Queen, and we could play the National Anthem.

I think the Queen has asked to plant a tree for more oxygen.

The first reason I think she has asked us to plant trees is to get rid of all Co2 and this is the next step to become a carbon free country. The second reason her majesty wants to plant trees is that some specific types of trees stay on this world for centuries which means that these planted trees can help memorise these amazing events that have happened. The third reason is that we use trees to make paper and a numerous amounts of trees are being chopped down just for paper and in order to replace those dead trees her majesty wants to replace all trees that have been chopped down.
    Fun fact:
Did you know we can make paper from elephant dung because it is full of natural fibers and we can say bye bye cutting trees down by using this method.

I believe she has asked to plant a tree because it gets this country 1 step closer to be a carbon free country. This won’t happen overnight though so we need to try our hardest to NOT waste paper. Why you ask? Well paper is made from wood and you find wood in trees. The more paper you waste the more trees you waste. This slows the process of becoming a Carbon free country So we are in it to! Even if we don’t have the ability to plant a tree (because we are children)

It is important to plant trees to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide however it will greatly cause an increased rate of oxygen. We should plant trees as it will help us to save the environment.

For this occasion, I think we should sing the National Anthem and send cards to the Queen.

In 2 Red, Charis told us that trees help us to breathe so this is why it is a good idea. We also discussed that lots of trees are cut down every year and it is too plant new ones to help the environment.

We think the Queen is asking us to plant trees for the above reasons. Some children thought it would be a good idea to plant fruit trees and give the fruit to the less fortunate people.

Here are some ideas from 4 Red.
On why we should plant a tree.
Noah – So we can get rid of all the carbon dioxide and save the world.
Hanfaa – So we can increase the oxygen in our air.
Kanishka – Because she likes how the trees look.
Caleb – Some trees last a long time like she has so they represent her.
On how we should celebrate the Queen’s 70th Year.
Yedullah – Plant more trees around school.
Zeyd – I would like to send cards to the Queen.
Mohammed – I think we should have a banquet in the Queen’s honour.
Romani – We should sing the national anthem and send the recording to the Queen.

3 Red think it is very important to plant trees as they give out oxygen. Muhammed Gray believes this will help our environment. Osas thinks the tree represents life and responsibility. We have discussed these ideas as a class and believe planting these trees represents hope and faith in the future. 3 Red believes everyone should be able to grow and spread their branches.

Mo thinks we should celebrate by cleaning up our community and showing respect. Bethany says we should celebrate by crafting things out of nature. Afsa says we should celebrate the queen. Vaneza thinks having a tea party for the queen would be a fun way of celebrating.

    Good afternoon 😊
We think the Queen wants us to plants trees to grow and blossom. We think it symbolises to expand nature and as it blossoms, it symbolises telling us to keep on shining! We would like to celebrate by learning about the Queen in the morning, and in the afternoon we could have a broad heath party with snacks.

3 White think the Queen has asked us to plant trees to help our environment as they generate oxygen. The Queen has been queen for a long time, trees grow over time and last a long time this will remind us of the roots the Queen has put down for our country. Like the tree we will continue to grow.

We celebrate this by Getting a picture with the people who planted the trees and saying thank you to them.

2 Blue think we need to plant a tree to help us have more oxygen to breath. Also because it is exciting that she has been our Queen for 70 years. The Queen thinks nature and plants are beautiful and important.

To celebrate in school we would like to…
-make biscuits and cakes and put the Queen’s name on or the Union Jack flag on them.
    -have a party
    -have a disco ball
-dress up in red, white and blue
-have a special dinner like sausages and beans or fish and chips

The Queen may be asking us to plant trees because it contributes to a pleasant environment, it encourages us to get outside to get fresh air and admire the trees. It’s natural so it provides a home for nature. It could represent her long life because trees live for a long time.

We would like to celebrate in a similar way to how we celebrated the life of Prince Philip (through a day of fun activities). We could also have a garden party so we can celebrate the planting of the tree too.

  24. Mrs Khaliq

3 Blue think the trees symbolise strength. As they grow they become bigger and stronger just like the country has over the past 70 years. Adam has said that trees can also blossom and maybe this also symbolises how the country has blossomed over the years.
    3 Blue’s suggestions for celebrating:
A Queen Day- we could wear special clothes, learn more about the Queen, dance and have a party.
    Have our own street party.
Create artwork and cards to send the Queen.
    Have a special day out.

  25. Esra S.

She had asked us to plant a tree because a tree 🌳 could live for long.

  26. Sheima B.

She might have asked us to plant a tree for her honey of her rulling England afore almost 70 years.we could celebrate this historical occasion at school by having a party.

  27. Ellie T.

l,think the queen ask us to plant tree because she was alive for 97 years but she was only working 70 years of service . T

    1. Head Teacher

Only working for 70 years….. more than I will do!

  28. I think the Queen is asking us to plant trees because this will help climate change and the quality of the environment around us. It will also encourage people to get outdoors which would also have a positive impact on our mental health and wellbeing.
I think we should celebrate by having a party with pizza and music!
