Children return to school Mon 8th April

Tomorrow we break up at the normal time. We come back to school on Monday 2 nd November. Times are being changed to ensure we support parents who cannot wait for long periods of time. i am sorry some do not like it. Year 6 will be expected in by 8;25 am for an 8;30 am start. The rest of the school can come in as from 8;30- 9 onwards. Parents dropping off MUST wear masks.

I am sorry if some parents are not happy with the times but we are trying very hard to support as many as we can under very challenging conditions. We have tried to maintain normality and have tried to do assemblies, some trips and all the nice things. we have even offered some Saturday school clubs- all FREE! PLEASE LOOK at the class blogs daily.

In Autumn 2 we will be getting the MUGA pitch covered so children can do PE outside all year. After School Clubs will be offered although limited because of not mixing bubbles. There will be no Saturday School until January 2021 when all the work will hopefully be finished. PE days, PE kit is worn to school and we expect children to wear PE tops and not anything they want to. You can purchase tops at the pastoral office/Mrs Raja Khan’s room.

If anyone has any questions please contact the school and we will endeavour to find a solution.

Thank you for your support.

One very tired headteacher and BH staff.

Should parents wear masks if dropping children off at the gates? Or only on the school grounds?
