PE Assembly – Mascot Art Competition – Winners!!!

Today the pupils from Key Stage 2 had their PE assembly and celebrated a wide range of sporting accomplishments which the school have achieved during the Autumn term.

The hockey team collected their certificates, as did the pupils from year 4 who took part in the Endball festival.

The Sportshall Athletics team collected their medals and certificates for winning round 1 back in November, and the new Yr6 Sports Ambassadors were announced ready to take charge of the lunchtime activities in January.

And finally, our Art competition winners were announced. We had over 60 entries, each designing a new school sports mascot which will be used in a number of ways.

3rd place = £5 gift voucher to DecathlonMuhammad Gadatia (4RED)

2nd place = £5 gift voucher to Decathlon – Rhys Fuller-Mapp (5BLUE)

WINNER = £10 gift voucher to Decathlon, First ever Broad Heath Heroes Wristband –

Pranay Khara (5RED)

His design has been sent to a professional artist who has taken his Phoenix design and made it look AWESOME. We now have a school banner which will be hung in the hall and taken with us to every competition to show how proud we are to be Broad Heath Heroes.

Everyone who submitted an entry into the art competition can come and collect their art work from me, and collect your treat.

Congratulations Pranay!

Mr Elliott
