1R Performance Week!

Hi everybody,

We would like to share a little blog diary of our week. We hope you enjoy watching us make progress and performing in many different ways!

Monday

Here is our first attempt at our dance to Waka Waka…

Our performance of Brown Bear, Brown Bear. This is a patterned story that we have been learning about in English this half term.

Check out our first singing rehearsal…

Here are some of our talent show auditions. We all had so much fun but some children just stood out from the crowd! We can’t wait for the show on Thursday! 1R will win for sure!!

We explored using different instruments…

Tuesday

We performed a song to help us count in multiples of 10.

We rehearsed our dance again… do you think we have started to make improvements?

We rehearsed our song as a year group. It was great to hear so many beautiful voices singing together!

Wednesday

We have been developing our balancing and rolling skills using control and co-ordination. We performed to each other!

We listened to different pieces of music and expressed our feelings through art, using paint. We thought carefully about colours and images that appeared in our imagination.

We performed a poem about spring!

We performed animal jokes and also told some that we had learnt at home too!

We rehearsed for the talent show again!

Thursday

Our headdresses are complete. We are ready to perform Waka Waka!

THE MAIN EVENT! Weren’t they AMAZING?! We were bursting with pride! You are such brave, confident, brilliant little people.

Friday
