We have had a very busy project week this week with the focus being on Art and British Values. We learnt about a 12 year old boy called Noah who has cerebal palsy.
The idea of Background Bob came about during the first lockdown. Noah loved to paint so his dad reached out on social media to see if artists would be willing to collaborate with him. Noah would paint the background and then it would be sent to the artist who would paint on top of it.
Background Bob then published a book of the works which has sold out raising money for charity. What a remarkable young boy who displays so many British values: Empathy, Teamwork, Resilliance, Imagination, Individuality, Respect.
Please take a look at some of the learning from this week. 😊
What activity did you enjoy and why?
