This week we have been learning all about the environment!
Houses and where we live!
We talked about where we live, we went on a walk and observed houses from a distance. We looked at the different parts of a house and had a go at using junk models and bricks to make our own houses.
Our carbon handprints!
We talked about how we can care for our environment and why it is important. We came up with ideas such as planting, tidying, picking up litter, walking to school and turning taps off. We made our own carbon handprints.
Bonfire night!
We looked at what things we celebrate in England such as bonfire night. We made our own fire work pictures using chalk.
Planting!
We planted our own cress and looked after it throughout the week.
Me and my family!
We drew a picture and talked about who we live with in our house.
Tidying up!
We placed some junk modelling on the floor outside and children helped to tidy it all back up. The children understood that we need to tidy and look after our nursery.
