For Maths, this week, we will be consolidating our understanding of sharing and doubling.
As always, go through the flip chart with your adult to fully understand your learning.

Let’s get our bodies moving by singing along to this video. Get moving whilst counting by 5s!

Red Group, please complete these sums in your homework books. Please use a pencil and take care with your presentation.

Orange and Yellow Group, please complete both in your homework books. Please use a pencil and take care with your presentation.

Blue and Green Group, please complete the work on the slides below in your homework books.
Please use a pencil and take care with your presentation.

    Doubling 4 sausages is 4 sausages
    Doubling 3 domino is 3 domino
    Doubling 1 counter is 1 counter
    Doubling 2 is 2
    Half of 2 is 1
    Doubling 4 is 4
    Half of 4 is 2
    Doubling 6 is 6
    Half of 6 3
    Double 2 is 2
    Double 5 is 5
    Half of 8 is 4
    Half of 6 is 3

    • Yasmin you have found half of each number correctly.
      Remember when you double a number, you will have the same number on each side. Double 2 is the same as 2 + 2 which is 4.
      Double 3 is the same as 3 + 3 which is 6.
