Half of 2 is 1

Doubling 4 is 4

Half of 4 is 2

Doubling 6 is 6

Half of 6 3

Double 2 is 2

Double 5 is 5

Half of 8 is 4

Half of 6 is 3

Yasmin you have found half of each number correctly.

Remember when you double a number, you will have the same number on each side. Double 2 is the same as 2 + 2 which is 4.

Double 3 is the same as 3 + 3 which is 6.
