Hello everyone 😊 Today we are going to get active and link our PE to our topic of Minibeasts.

So this week we have been looking at caterpillars and butterflies. Watch the video below and look carefully at how a caterpillar moves.

Now with your grown ups, discuss how the caterpillar moves.
How do they move?
Why do they move like that?
Can you move like that?
Which way of moving is faster- a caterpillar or you?

Activity: See if you can recreate how a caterpillar moves and make up a caterpillar dance.

  1. Lewis did practice all of this activity he enjoyed doing.
    He did bounce the ball 3 -4 times
    He hop on one fit 19 times
    He did jogging 10 time
    And threw the beanbag to the into the hoop 2 -3 times.

  2. Caterpillar move slowly.
    Because caterpillars are heavy and they have small legs.
    Yes I can move like that.
    My way is faster. πŸ€—
    I was play outside in the trampoline, with ball and running. It was so much fun.

    2. Caterpillars moves like that because they don’t have bone in their body.
    3. I tried to move like that but I couldn’t because I have bone in my body.
    4. I moves faster than caterpillar.

  4. Caterpillar moves slow because they are really small and have small legs.
    I can move like a Caterpillar I can do it faster.
    I am faster then a Caterpillar.
