RBlue-Can you make a police car? – Home Learning 24.03.20

Hello Reception Blue, today we are going to get those little fingers busy to be creative πŸ˜€

As we are learning all about the important work that police officers do, we would like you to design and build a police car using junk modelling.

You could use milk cartons, egg boxes or cardboard tubes anything that you can find in your home.

Have a look at the pictures below to give you some ideas.

When you have built your model, take some photos or make a video about it and send it to us on the address below so that we can post it on the blog.

What materials did you use?
How did you join the materials?
What details have you added to your vehicle? e.g lights, windows etc.

I used a orange juice box, toilet roll cardboard and orange peel for my siren.
I joined them by cutting holes and pushing the wheels in, i glued the siren on and also used rainbow tape. Oh and masking tape for the roads, police station/jail, homes and shop.
I made a boot on my police car, siren, window and used a black pen to write police.
