Reception Home Learning – Topic

Hello Reception!

In this week story ‘Room on the Broom’ there were different types of animals, some that could fly and some that couldn’t. Today we are going to look at animals that fly and those that don’t fly.

Please view the learning videos below before completing the learning.

Bronze Learning: Using the pictures, choose and draw a picture of an animal that does not fly.

Silver Learning: Using the pictures choose one picture of an animal that flies and one picture of an animal that does not fly and draw into the correct boxes.

Please make sure that you label what it is.

Gold Learning: Sort the pictures of the animals that fly and don’t fly by drawing them into the correct columns and write a sentence.

Platinum Learning

Send pictures of your handwriting to: bhearlyyears@broadheath.coventry.sch.uk and comment on the blog to say that you have completed the learning.

Great understanding of which animals fly and which don’t. Can you tell me different ways animals move if they don’t fly?
