I have drawn the butterfly cycle on a paper

First the Butterfly lays eggs, next the egg hatches and young caterpillars come out of the egg, then the caterpillar eats the egg it came out of, and makes a cocoon, and stays inside the cocoon. This is also known as a Chrysalis

Finally after 15 days a butterfly comes out of the Chrysalis. When the adult butterfly comes out it’s wings are wet and small. Then the butterfly pumps fluids to make its wings expand and make them strong. After a few hours the butterfly starts to fly.
