Stay and play is a great opportunity to be apart of my child’s school life and understand ways and techniques he is taught at home in order for me to implement them at home. Also being able to discuss any concerns or achievements.
Thank you Broad Heath for this valuable time with our children.

It is always something new to learn in Stay and Play. I have enjoyed each and every session. It has helped me to understand the way children are being taught in school whether its phonics, numbers or story writing. It has helped me to support my child doing her work at home the same way. I can consult teachers anytime and they are really supporting. Thank you Broad Heath.

Today we cut and coloured a firefighter. Surinder wrote some facts about firefighters. Mrs Shergill has given her homework to write a story about fireman Sam.

Me and mummy had great fun at stay and play today. We enjoyed painting the fireman and making flame pictures by blowing paint.

  6. Jasleen Grewal

Jasleen was doing some creativity work today. The subject was fireman.
I helped Jasleen with some cutting and sticking.
Jasleen said the fireman put out the fire with some water.

    What a great video!
It shows how supportive and brilliant all the parents are that come and support their child’s learning during stay and play. BH has always been an example whereby staff and parents have a partnership which involves working together and ensuring success for every child that attends this amazing school. Thank you for sharing your thoughts :)

I always try to attend stay and play sessions to help familiarise myself with the teachers and the subject being taught. This has helped me to understand phonics and the way maths is being taught for children at reception level which I have continued to teach the kids at home. I can speak to the teacher on a regular basis with added bonus of viewing the work being completed by my child and if required focus on weaker areas of my child. Thanks to Broad Heath for allowing me to use this opportunity to spend time with my child in their classroom. 😀🏆

You are very welcome, this is a lovely comment. Parents and school need to be in complete partnership if we are to get the very best for our children. The children, certainly deserve it!
