Today your child will be coming home with their first ‘Talking Task’. The purpose of this task is to develop talking and expand vocabulary. This will also help to support the Communication and Language strand of our curriculum. Every Friday your child will come home with something different to talk about at home over the weekend with you.

This week the topic is ‘Favourite Stories’. You will see on the Talking Task there are some key questions to ask your child about this topic. Please write down EVERYTHING your child says on the sheet that is sent home and then bring it back to school before NEXT FRIDAY.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Reception team.
