Refugees – facts and myths

Today, we looked at how Britain treats refugees. We discussed facts and myths linked to refugees and why people have different views towards them.

We linked this learning to our British values and whether it is our right to look after people from other countries who are in need. 

We decided that these crucial points linked to all of our British values

Equality, respect, freedom,rule of law, liberty and democracy.

  1. I think in my opinion that it is not fair that people would be judge by how they look or their religion or if they are black or white they shouldn’t be judge how they look it is just wrong I will support refugees

  2. I have learnt several things about myths and facts about refuges. The UK just let’s asylum seekers in however we are one of the least nations who take in refugees.

  3. I think it’s unfair that people are creating myths about asylum seekers. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡 I support the refugees, because they have been through things that we will never go through.
