RRed Home Learning – Maths 05/05/20

Hi RR. Welcome back for more fun home learning activities!

For Maths, this week, we are going to move onto doubling. You all showed a good understanding of sharing – well done! This is great fun once you understand the concept. Before that, go through the flip chart with your adult to fully understand your learning.

Let’s get our bodies moving by singing along to this video. Get moving whilst counting by 2s!

    I done in my book my mum cut out butterflies and I painted spots using my fingers and I folded the butterfly and I got same spots on the other side . I doubled them.
    5+5 =10
    6+6=12
    7+7=14
    8+8=16
    9+9=18
    10+10=20

      If you can do this practically using objects in your home e.g. Using pasta can you double 2 pieces of pasta? How many do you have now?
