RRed Home Learning – Phonics 25/06/20

Good morning, RRed. I hope you are all ok and ready for another day of learning.

Before you start Your individualised learning, I’d like you all to complete the Phonic activity mat and whizz through the sounds below. Once you have completed your learning, leave a comment to let me know 😁

If you are these children, Halima and Ashton . I would like you to practise your segmenting and blending. Watch this video 😁
After watching this video, complete the worksheet in your homework book please. Draw the picture, then write the correct word three times next to the picture. Alternatively, you can print the sheet and stick it in your book.

If you are these children, I would like you to watch this video then write 2 simple sentences using the correct CVCC/CCVC word that matches the picture below. Make sure you use your ‘Phoneme Fingers’ when segmenting and blending.
Faris, Ebu, Ahyan, Jari, Max, Musa, and Simeon.

If you are these children, I would like you to watch this video to practise your reading.
After that, complete the worksheet below the video in your homework books. After matching the picture to the word, write 2 sentences.
Ameera, Shumiyah, Yusuf, Halimah, Umar, Isaiah, Esa and Sandra.

If you are these children, I would like you to watch the set 2 sounds video. Today, you will be learning the ‘ow’ sound, as in, ‘blow the snow.’ I would like you to find all the ‘ow’ words in the passage below. Complete this in your homework book.
Adnan, Neda, Minnah, Emil and Alisha.

If you are these children, I would like you to watch this video again to recap your set 2 sounds. After that, you will be learning a new sound, (this sound is called a split digraph) ‘a-e’ as in ‘make a cake.’ First, read and write the ‘a-e’ words.
after that, complete the activity below the video in your homework books. (Find and write all the ‘a-e’ words and write them in your books)
Eesaa, Eliza, DJ, Zoe, Tasneem, Emil, Toleen and Nick.
