Rugby Tournament 11/03/20

This Wednesday a group of year 8 boys entered a tag rugby at Holbrooks Primary school. The students have worked hard in a group for 2 weeks training at lunchtimes and were very eager to play.

The afternoon got off to a bit of a bad start when the bus wouldn’t start! But Mr Strong came to the rescue and we were soon on the way.

There were 4 other teams at the tournament, and we played each of them once in a group format. We were competitive in every game, winning one, drawing two and losing one by just 1 try.

The students showed fantastic values synonymous with both our school and the sport, including teamwork, resilience and brilliance. All the boys who have taken part in tag rugby this term have been a joy to work with, well done and thank you!
