Sportshall Athletics Coventry Final

On Thursday 8th of March 30 pupils from year 4/5/6 travelled to the Excel leisure centre to compete in the Coventry Final of the sportshall athletics competition after winning round 1 back in November. We competed hard against St Christopher, Templars, Moseley & All Souls in a mixture of running jumping and throwing events. All of the hard work after school really paid off as the pupils came 2nd in a close contest. Congratulations to all of the pupils who took part you have done your school proud…

  1. Well done to all the student who had took part in each and every race that had been set up for us. We worked so hard to get to round 2 so to see the courage and proudness broad heath had done was so much fun. Congratulations to the winner of The athletics competition.

  2. I wish I was in athletics club it looks so fun πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸŽ–πŸŽ–πŸŽ–πŸŽ–πŸŽ–πŸŽ—πŸŽ—πŸŽ—πŸŽ—πŸŽ—πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸ’

  3. After we heard the results, I was quite proud because I believe we all worked our hardest on this and second place is not really bad so maybe if we work as TRIPLE as hard we could have a possibility of becoming first place. However, eventhough we did not win the most important thing to all those who have experienced competitions like the Athletics competition or other competitions is.. ‘TO ALWAYS KEEP YOUR SPIRITS HIGH AND NEVER DOUBT YOURSELF!’
Let’s work Even more harder next year.

  4. My turnover was rubbish but the best thing is that i catch the other teams up and came second not fourth.I have got some thing to say thank you Mr Elliott for being the best person at pe and thanks for entering us to somany competitions. This shows that you really care about BroadHPS.As to the children thanks for showing a great effort.
