Spring 2, week 2/3 Mrs Diaz’s phonics group, OUS, CIOUS, TIOUS.

This week in our phonics session, we have been focusing on the sounds OUS, CIOUS TIOUS. Firstly we looked at the phonemes and talked about the grapheme these would be in. We then went on to read the RWI book, ‘A very Dangerous Dinosaur’ Where we read and answered questions from the ‘Get Writing’ text book.

    1. They eat grass and The meaning of Stegosaurus is ‘roofed lizard’. Stegosaurus had brains the size of ping pong balls. And weigh 4 meters (14 feet) tall. And they weighed 2 tons.

    2. They go to get food. Fight under dinosaurs. Get water. Get things to protect their nests more.
