Today, Mrs Hurt and I took a group of children to see the Standing with Giants tribute at Coombe Abbey. This meaningful and momentous display is to honour and thank those who work tirelessly for the NHS, in particularly those who lost their lives working on the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Using their art and observation skills the children sketched the figures from the front and the back and wrote down how the tribute made them feel.
