The Circus comes to BH

Today we had the opportunity to experience a visit from the circus. There was humour and laughter as the children enjoyed themselves. There was hula hoop tricks, spinning plates and a diabolo. The children had the opportunity to attend mini workshops and to have a go. This part of our learning was linked to our project week ‘This is Me’ where the film was based around a circus. Throughout the week the children learned about the history of the circus and how it has evolved over the years.

I enjoyed the circus because Jonn and Peter taught us how to spin the plates and how to do hula hoops tricks . I have used the values of Respect ,tenacity ,resilience and kindness.

I enjoyed the circus because I liked it when John and Pete were doing fabulous tricks. I have showed the value of resilience because I did not know how to spin a plate but now I do know how to.
