  4. The Mongolian empire was at full force starting from 1162 to 1368 when Northern China overthrew their Mongolian ruling power. The Mongolian empire started in China and soon Iraq,Korean Penisula and parts of Europe.Genghis Khan and his descendants started the gigantic empire and this way many trades like herbs and spices were introduces as Mongolia was ruling most of the world.

I now know that he is from Venice, Italy and he got things from all around Asia and Mongolia and used to sell them back in Europe. He used trade things so he could get spices, silk and gems for things that he would give. He would trade with other merchants who had valuable things. He travelled throughout China, Mongolia India, UAE, Bangladesh and more.

  6. I have learnt that Marco Polo used to be an famous merchant before he began his travels down the silk lane. Also, the growth of the Mongolian Empire helped with trade as Mongolia had control over trade in the countries their empire owned and they could trade within themselves and foreign countries. The foreign countries may be closer to certain countries under Mongolia’s rule.

  7. I learnt that Marco polo thought the world was flat because of the waterfall as you can die if you go off it. Owning most of the land, makes it possible for Mongolia to trade as there is no one to stop them trading as they are so powerful.
