What is eating healthy and why is it important?

We have already looked at the Eat-well plate and food pyramid during previous lessons.

    I chose porridge, banana and orange juice for breakfast.
    I chose grapes for playtime.
    I chose pasta salad, carrot sticks and a glass of milk for lunch.
    I chose vegetable curry and rice for dinner.

  2. 1) Healthy eating means eating a variety of foods that give you the nutrients you need to maintain your health. Food is the most important thing in our lives besides water. eating a variety of food that gives you the nutrients you need to maintain your health, feel good, and have energy. These nutrients include protein, carbohydrate, fat, water, vitamin, and minerals.

    Eating well is fundamental to good health and well-being. It helps us to maintain a healthy weight, boost our energy, sleep well and reduces our risk of type 2 diabetes.

    2)The five food groups are vegetables, cabahydrates, protien,
    dairy and oil and spreads.

  3. Eating Healthy
    1, It’s important to eat a healthy balanced diet, so that our bodies can benefit from lots of different types of food which is fundamental to good health and well being. It helps us to maintain a healthy weight and reduces our risk of developing type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and the risk of cardiovascular disease and some cancers.
    2, The five essential food groups are that we need in our diets are Fats, Carbohydrates, Dairy, Protein and Fruit and Vegetables.
    3, The goodness from the various food groups is released slowly into our bodies as it’s digested we gain lots of nutrients from the time food enters our bodies until it leaves. It’s important to have a very varied diet so our bodies can have all the different types of vitamins and other properties that they require to function well. Lots of water and maybe not to much fatty foods like sweets and cakes.

    Chocolates or other sweets you should only eat 3 times a week or less.
    The food groups are, fruit and veg, carbohydrates, dairy, protein and fats.

    Foods from the basic food groups provide the nutrients essential for life and growth. Each of the food groups provides a range of nutrients, and all have a role in helping the body function.

        l had a wonderful Eid and half term break, hope did as well.

        We need to eat healthy Meals , because it gives a steady source of energy for the day.

        A balanced diet helps us grow, repair ourselves.

        We need to have protein,carbohydrate,fat in our meal a source of energy needed for the brain and body, it will help us to concentrate at school and task given.
