Wednesday 15th July- Year 5 Home Learning

Good morning Year 5!

I’ve been thinking about the City of Culture award this week, which means I was also thinking a lot about Coventry.

So, why did Coventry win the City of Culture award? What makes our city so great? What does Coventry have to offer visitors and its residents?

I think there’s a lot to be proud of in Coventry and it’s easy to lose sight of the great things the city has to offer. So, you tell me, what’s great about Coventry and why did we deserve to win the City of Culture award?

https://coventry2021.co.uk has lots of information on it about the award. You can also use search engines like google and kiddle to help find information about Coventry and the city of culture award.

You can present your work in any format you wish as long as it celebrates our magnificent city, it is beautifully presented and it is informative.

Remember to email your work to us so we can see how great it is! y5upload@broadheath.coventry.sch.uk
