Wednesday 17th June- Year 5- Reading Comprehension

Hi Year 5, hope you are all well.  Ready for a reading challenge….. Of course you are!  Can the following children read the extract called Butser Farm and answer the questions using full sentences and using the P.E.E technique that we use in class.  Please answer the questions in your homework books. Please let me know on the blog how you found the text and questions ( easy/ challenging) and share one of your answers.  If you need help please let me know.  If any children from Year 5 want to do this please feel free to so.

    You can have a go at making a mosaic,pottery,weaving,learn how to write in Ancient runes,Iron Age roundhouses and a Roman Villa.
    4. Would it be possible to visit Butser Ancient Farm on Saturday 17th February?

    I think the writer has used text boxes because each one is taking about a different thing.
    6. Why do you think the author has chosen to include a map?
    So, you can see in what location it is in and so you can’t get lost.
