Wednesday 20th May- Year 5 Home Learning: PHSE

Good morning Year 5!

I’ve been thinking about the current topic of debate right now which is about how our country comes out of lockdown. I’ve been thinking about possible changes to the way we live our lives moving forwards from this pandemic. I don’t see the point in going back to how things were when we have the opportunity to make positive changes following all of this.

I’ve been thinking about the benefits of less vehicles on the road, less noise, more wildlife, less pollution, more friendliness and kindness towards others, more appreciation for NHS staff, more appreciation generally for the things we take for granted. I’ve been thinking about how it would be fantastic if some or all of these positives remain after our lockdown.

But, what do you think? What positives would you like to see following the lockdown? And, what will you do to help achieve these things?

I’d love to know your thoughts about it. Please post them below or email them to us.

  1. I would like to see people wearing masks and not being close to each other or they might get sick. I would like people to be kind to each other in lockdown.

  2. I would like to see many people wearing masks and respecting social distancing when you go outside because if you don’t respect social distancing or don’t wear a mask you might meet the symptoms.

  3. i would like to see more kindness also would like to see people wearing masks and gloves when going shops or any other places where plenty of people can be.
