We have had a super first week back in Reception Blue! The children were really excited and happy to be back with their friends and have settled straight back into the school routine.
This week we started our new topic ‘Our Favourite Stories’. We read the story ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. We drew and described the gruffalo and our own terrible creatures, created paper plate gruffalos and worked on our number skills, investigating numbers to 5 using the vocabulary more than, less than and the same/equal. Well done on a super week of learning and challenging yourselves.
