Week 3 5 white

5 White have had an amazing week this week. Their behaviour has been exemplary as per usual. The class have been really supportive of each others learning throughout the week demonstrating the values of teamwork and kindness. The consistent delivery of these values has delivered perhaps one of the highlights of my teaching career to date, of which I am tremendously proud of. The children’s in class discussions are going from strength to strength demonstrating the core value of communication which in turn allows us ‘To Gain’ in all areas.

In numeracy the children have continued to consolidate their knowledge of rounding to the nearest 10,100,1000 and 10,000 and are now identifying the values of digits up to 1000,000. In English the children are able to highlight the key features of a newspaper article and are primed and ready to have a go at their own next week.

5 White are really getting their teeth into the class topic which is the 1960’s and having fun exploring the art work of Andy Warhol I am very excited about the work they will be producing next week.

🇩🇪European Day in 5 white🇩🇪

On Friday 5 white participated in European Day where we focused on Germany. The children were able to utilise the value of imagination and creativity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding throughout the day. The singing dancing and rapping was particularly entertaining.
