We had a fantastic World Book Day in 5 Blue, celebrating the fantasy story ‘The Hobbit’. We began the day exploring the soundtrack to the film version, giving us a clear indication of the tone and atmosphere of the story. We then read extracts from the novel, and watched parts of the film so that we could familiarise ourselves with the characters. Over the course of the day, we completed a double page spread showcasing our knowledge of the story. Take a look at the gallery below!
