1B Diwali Day

1B have had a GREAT day today!

1Blue have enjoyed celebrating Diwali. Our focus story is Rama and Sita for our next unit in English, so we are levelling the playing field with beautiful Diwali activities and experiences today. We’ve even tried some Diwali treats too!

We visited the Temple! It was so much fun!

In 1White with Miss Smith and Mrs J Patel, the children created rangoli patterns!

In 1Blue with Mr Mahmood and Mrs A Patel, the children made barfi and created a moving picture with a slider mechanism!

In 1Red with Miss Ostick and Miss Shilton, the children created firework pictures!

    WOW 1 Blue what super Diwali 🪔 day celebration we have had today. The first thing I want to say is how beautiful you all looked in your costumes.The outfits were so colourful bright and amazing.
    Starting with dancing ,visiting the temple, creating firework pictures, mehndi patterns,rangoli patterns and making our own barfi. We have all used so many different skills for our learning and everyone including the teachers have had a lovely fun Diwali day. Thank you all for behaving so well at the temple and showing respect . Well done 👏🏼👍🏻⭐️
