Y1 Maths 18.06.21- Home learning
Happy Friday year 1! Today we are going to continue our work using numbers to 100. We are going to partition numbers using our tens and ones knowledge.

Activities
Red group- Partitioning up to 20.
Write and represent the jottings under the numbers to 20. This means you are writing the numbers to 20 and then practically making the jottings underneath! Lets think about what we can use in our home to make the tens and ones! Tens could be straws, cutlery, spaghetti and pencils. Ones could be skittles, pennies, rocks, cereal, marbles.

For example-
Orange, Yellow, Blue and Green- Partitioning to 100.
First, partition these numbers using the table or the part whole model using your jottings.
Next, complete these sentences.
