    Gold:
    Habib is right because the ones always stay the same.That is due to that the tens have a place holder in the ones.

    Platinum:
    Isla is right because she has £1.02.She already has 32p plus the 7 lots of 10p which adds up to £1.02
    10 x 7=70p 70p+32=102

    Numbers that do have 4 tens in:
    48 = 4 tens and 8 ones
    49 = 4 tens and 9 ones
    41 = 4 tens and 1 one
    Numbers that do not have 4 tens in it:
    3 = 3 ones
    56 = 5 tens and 6 ones
    78 = 7 tens and 8 ones

    Silver
    Jessica has more than faith this is because Jessica has 29 (2 tens and 9 ones )but faith only has 27 ( 2 tens and 7 ones)

    Gold
    He is right because if you add a ten it would not make much of a difference if you add it. For example : 1 ten + 3 tens and 4 ones = 4 tens and 4 ones . when you look at the example it shows you that he is right.

    Platinum
    Yes she is correct because she originally had 37p but when she got the 7 lots of ten (70p) that got added to what she has normally so the total is £1.02

    10 + 10 = 20
    20 + 20 = 40
    The numbers have to be less than 49 and more than 40
    Example- 42 45 47
    Silver
    Faith = 27 ones
    this means she has 27
    Gold
    Yes
    Jessica = two tens = 20
    20 + 9 = 29
    this means Jessica has higher
    Gold

    Jessica has two tens and 9 ones which make it 29, so she has 2 more than faith.

    Gold
    10 added to any number will not means that the ones will be the same because if he has a 10 and adds a ten the answer will be 20 and the ones is the same
