Children return to school Mon 8th April

Hello Year 2. Here is today’s Science lesson. We are making progress by moving on from classifying living things to look at habitats. Watch the videos below and then upload your work here: https://broadheathcoventrysch-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/seb_carter_broadheath_coventry_sch_uk/EqUWmnAHZ1pFoD1ZAygzgk4B0SMCd25RajDu7cNfUt_hvQ

A woodland a land covered with trees, synonymous with wood, a low density forest forming open habitats with plenty of sunlight and limited shade.

Woodlands are made of trees who give us shade.
We find bluebells and other different types of plants such as shrubs.
Woodland are the home to different kinds of birds and animals such squirrels, coal tits, robins, dunnocks, grey tits and blue tits
Ponds are made of water and it has lily pads for frogs to jump on and leap on a another one.

Earwigs have long, flat bodies that are pale brown. They have two pairs of wings, and pincers.

    8. How do spiders immobilise their prey?
