    Bronze:
    – Roald Dahl was born on September 13th 1916.
    – He was born in Llandaff, Cardiff.
    – Fantastic Mr Fox.
    – Roald Dahl was 4 years old.
    – He wrote 19 books.
    Silver:
    – Roald Dahl gave up being a pilot because he was shot down and badly injured and needed many operations.
    – He started writing for newspapers.
    – He wanted to write fiction stories.
    – The text says he always wanted to write stories that were more imaginary than real (fiction stories).
    Gold:
    – Billy and the Minpins, The BFG, George’s Marvellous Medicine, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches.
    – I would like to read “The BFG” because it stands for Big Friendly Giant and I didn’t know what BFG was.

    GD:
    – The illustrator is Quentin Blake. Illustrator means the person who draws the pictures.
    – The blurb is a short description of the book and it is useful because it gives you an idea about the book.
    Boggis is one of the three “meanest, nastiest, ugliest farmers” in the history of the local valley. He is “a chicken farmer, probably the most successful in the world. He weighs the same as a young rhino. He eats three chickens every day. For breakfast, lunch and dinner.
