    1) Cacti store rainwater itself because the Creosote bush sends out huge network of roots so it can seek out every drop of dew and rain.
    2) Some seeds lie waiting for rain but when it rains, (which it very hardly happens in the dessert) they become into flowers, set seed and die. All in a few days.

    Some plants can amazingly grow even when fires have destroyed their wonderful habitats! How shocking! Red oat grass has a special seed that’s makes them be able to burrow below hot, burnt earth and the seed has a long tail which twists around unusually in the hot soil, helping the seed to amazingly spiral it’s way underground.
