    Book :The queen’s orangutan
    Author:David Walliams
    Illustrator:Tony Ross

This book is about a queen who is terribly tired and stressed .So,for her birthday she asks for an orangutan, but not any ordainary orangutan but a butler , and a very energetic one aswell.
The butter orangutan destroys everything even swinging on the light shades and tips tea on the president.
The Queen was over whelmed and surprises everyone with what she does next .
This book shows that sometimes people can get over worked by working in some jobs , and everyone need s help and a break sometimes .
The pictures were nice but I think more pictures would of been nice .
I think this book would be aimed for 7-9 year olds because it’s fun to read and David walliams always makes his books enjoyable for children.

    Genre: Comedy
Plot: The Queen is bored in her castle and wants to see something fun. Her birthday is coming up, so she decided what she wanted. Everyone was struggling on what to give her because she had SO MANY things.
She tells everyone that she wants an Orangutan to be her butler. The Orangutan does lots of silly things such as, pouring tea on the Prime Minister’s head. The Queen seems to like it because the Orangutan cured her boredom. Then the Queen escapes, and the guards can’t keep up with her. The Queen leaves a note saying that the Orangutan is now the new King.
Age recommendation: I would recommend this book to 5-20 year olds because it’s a really funny book and will make everyone laugh if they’re in a bad/angry mood.
