    43×2=86
    32×3=96

    When he multiply the second one 3×4 , he put the answer unders ones and tens instead of tens and hundreds.
    And he also multiply by 3 not 2 .

    2.43×2=86
    3.32×3=96
    Silver:
    1.34×3=102
    2.42×4=168
    3.28×2=56
    Gold:
    1.34×4=136
    2.45×3=135
    3.27×6=162
    Greater depth:
    Alex’s mistake was that when she added up the numbers at the end she got the incorrect answer because in the calculation she wrote 42×3 but the calculation should have been 43×2 and the answer would be 86.

    • Well done Have a look at GD again Did Alex use the FWM correctly? Have a go to work out the answer correctly using the FWM remember to put the digits in the correct columns.
